Did you ever...

Did you ever..well get on with it. Did you ever look at something on TV and
it looks so goood. Lets say a hamburger, juicy, crispy lettuce and tomato.
Delicious plump bun, sizzling hot...well mouth watering if you will. Isn't
that great..Did you ever..really go to one of those hamburger  places and
order one of those juicy hamburgers you saw on the TV..all anxious to sink
your teeth into it. Can't wait right...

Then you drive away ready to dig in...OH, wait. What is this. There is no
cheese on this. I wanted cheese. Why does the Bun look like it's 2 weeks
old. I don't want ketchup, I wanted nothing on it. Do I need to go on. No.
This is sooo typical in my neck of the woods and I'm sure...well most
everywhere in this country..

Well the point is..is there a point here? Yes, and let me respond to that. Is
it me or am I living in a bad dream..Can I find a place, a service, something
that is supposed to be real good and really IS.

I went to get my oil changed last week and that went well. They actually put
oil in my car…so far so good. Then they were I guess trying to be, well nice..I
think. They checked the air pressure on my tires..I keep them at around 40 psi..
on the tire it says maximum 44 psi as I don’t like a marshmallow ride with
real low pressure..So I look through the service door and I see the mechanic
checking tire pressure and did not think so much about it until a day or so
later. It felt weird driving…Too soft of a ride..So when I pulled in my driveway
I checked the tire pressure..Ready. One was almost flat, 2 were about 30 psi
and the other was about right. How DID THAT HAPPEN…Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Does anyone else experience these kinds of situations..they have to or am I the
only one. I think not..

Next week home improvement centers.

  1. It's impossible that you be the only one. :D
It is said that publicity always is deceiving and has as main objective to create in you a need... the Consumer Law establishes among the fundamental rights of the final consumer, the following: "Right to protection against deceitful or abusive publicity..." There is always something to laugh about. :P
Mmmm... Maybe the mechanic was wanting to see you again...
Do you use 40-44 psi in Winter also?...
What your tires say on the sidewall? or maybe is written on a label on the driver's door in your car.
Here I know that the drivers use 33-35 psi (17", 2, 3 persons, 33 psi front, 30 psi rear) depending of how many people go inside the car and the "beautiful conditions" of our roads. It isn't the same thing when you drive alone than when you do it with the full car and baggage in the trunk. Take a look at this link: http://www.westlaketire.com/WESTLAKE%20TIRE%20Site/Index2.htm
    (250 kpa + or - = 36.26 psi?)
Besides, you do know that the pressure of the tires is verified in cold. It exists a difference in "cold" and "hot" (2 to 3 psi, in the morning and when you already have travelled distance), that's to say that when at the gas station the mechanic inflated or deflated it at 30 psi, really your tire was working 27 psi or 28 psi, what provoke an uneven tire wear.:S
